Brees has two TDs in first quarter

Oh those hapless Lions…
Saints QB Drew Brees has thrown two touchdown passes, one to Marques Colston and one to Robert Meachem, in the first quarter against Detroit. The score to Colston was on a 9-yard pass, while Meachem hauled in a touchdown on a 39-yard strike. Looks like fantasy leaguers who drafted Brees are in for a nice Week 1.
In Carolina, DeAngelo Williams has scored from 11 yards out against Philadelphia. I never understood why Williams slid in drafts.
