After participating fully in practice over the last three days, Texans QB Matt Schaub is listed as probable for Sunday’s season opener against the New York Jets at Reliant Stadium.
While Schaub is expected to start, one of his weapons — WR Kevin Walter — may miss the game as he continues to nurse an injured hamstring. Walter is listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report and has yet to practice this week. If Walter sits, he’ll join Texans safety Eugene Wilson — out with a knee injury — on the sidelines.
Notable injuries for the Jets include TE Dustin Keller (toe) and rookie RB Shonn Greene (ribs). Both are listed as probable.
