PITTSBURGH — Tim McGraw is onstage, getting a big reaction from a pretty packed house of Terrible Towel-waving fans during his one-hour set. But the Black Eyed Peas are coming on in 20 minutes and — as somebody who has seen them a number of times — I am excited.

Anybody think they will go old school during their set? Pre-Fergie old school, like “Weekends,” and “Joints and Jams?” Anybody else feeling some old-school Black Eyed Peas? What are your favorites? I’m seriously contemplating putting in a request backstage.

We’re now about two hours from kickoff. If the party here is any indication, the crowd is going to be completely insane across the river tonight.
