Rookie QB Chase Daniel will not be signing with the Washington Redskins’ practice squad, according to a source. Daniel has decided to go to New Orleans instead.
Daniel had become a favorite with the coaches in Washington, and coach Jim Zorn spoke with Daniel this weekend to inform him of his desire to bring him back on the practice squad. Daniel opted to sign with the Saints, however.
LB Cody Glenn, another rookie the Redskins had hoped to put on their practice squad after waiving him Saturday, also decided to go elsewhere, signing with the Colts’ practice squad.
