Veteran CB Corey Ivy and WR David Patten were among the 23 players cut by the Browns, who still have one roster spot available.
Ivy, a 10th-year veteran, spent the last three seasons with the Ravens, with whom he started 14 games, recording two interceptions and 7.5 sacks in that time.
Patten spent the last two seasons with the Saints, but he was limited to five games last season in which he caught just 11 passes and one touchdown. The 13th-year veteran also has spent time with the Giants, Patriots and Redskins.
