Bengals cut 22, but RBs Leonard, Dorsey stay

Viewers of HBO’s Hard Knocks saw Bengals coaches struggle between choosing Brian Leonard and DeDe Dorsey at running back.

Well, they both made the team.

The Bengals announced their cuts, and Leonard and Dorsey weren’t among them. That gives the team four running backs — starter Cedric Benson and sixth-round draft pick Bernard Scott are the others. Jeremi Johnson is the lone fullback.

Notable among the Bengals’ 22 cuts were veteran WR Antonio Chatman, LB Darryl Blackstock and FS Marvin White.
