Vikings’ Winfield: ‘This is our year’

Wednesday’s Team Cam interview on NFL Total Access came via Minnesota, where Pro Bowl CB Antoine Winfield agreed with the assesment of host Rich Eisen that this season is a Super-Bowl-or-bust-type season for the Vikings, or it will be considered a disappointment.

“Absolutely. Every player in this locker room has that mindset,” Winfield said. “We feel this is our year. We have a great team. We all understand it’s not going to be easy, and we’re going to take it week by week. Hopefully get a few games under our belt early in the season so we won’t have to fight to get into the playoffs late. And just take it from there.”
