The Vikings now have four quarterbacks on their roster, and NFL execs I spoke to told me they anticipate Tarvaris Jackson being shopped in the near future now that Brett Favre is in town.

Irony, a twist of fate or just poetic justice? Call it what you want, but while Bret Favre’s return is dripping with revenge and the lust to beat his former team, the questions remain: How much does Favre improve the Vikings, and how will the Green Bay Packers compete against their former savior?

Brett Favre’s presence will help the fantasy value of receivers Bernard Berrian, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe. Look at Favre as a viable No. 2 fantasy quarterback and worth a middle- to late-round selection.
