Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards, suffering from an undisclosed injury, missed the first four days of training camp. According to the Associated Press, Edwards he was cleared to practice on Tuesday and joined the team on the field for Wednesday morning’s workout.

Here in Ashburn, Va., the Redskins were hitting. Coach Jim Zorn led a physical practice, with lots of inside running drills, some goal line stuff and they went at it for a full two hours. A fair amount of bodies dropped as well, particularly at an area where the Redskins are already vulnerable.

Much of the talk at 49ers camp is centered on rookie WR Michael Crabtree, who missed his third day of practices Monday while continuing to negotiate a contract.
