With injuries mounting around the league, one free agent to watch is offensive tackle Levi Jones. Jones has been drawing interest from several teams, according to sources. Baltimore and Washington are among teams to suffer injuries to tackles recently, and Jones is looking for the opportunity to start.

Browns WR Braylon Edwards continues to sit out practice with an undisclosed injury. Cleveland coach Eric Mangini has refused to reveal the nature of Edwards’ injury and reiterated on Tuesday that Cleveland’s top playmaker will be on the field when he is medically cleared by the Browns’ training staff.

The Raiders raised eyebrows and surprised some when they picked Maryland WR Darrius Heyward-Bey with the seventh overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. The team could be open for more scrutiny if Heyward-Bey continues to struggle in training camp.
