Vick well received by Eagles fans upon taking field

PHILADELPHIA — Michael Vick took the field on the Eagles’ second play, to mostly loud cheers from a sparse crowd, entering as the quarterback in a Wildcat-like formation.

QB Donovan McNabb was split out wide right as the only receiver on that side of the field. Two receivers were on the left side, and two backs were stationed with Vick in the shotgun. Vick pitched a shuffle pass to rookie RB LeSean McCoy, who picked up four yards on the play.

Vick headed back to the sideline for third down.
