Seahawks RB Forsett still a sleeper despite James

The murky Seahawks running back situation had more red flags than your average bullfight for fantasy players.
That situation did not become any clearer after the team agreed to terms with veteran running back Edgerrin James. A move akin to Nickelback signing Scott Stapp to be a backup singer. In other words, this is a nightmare.
James’ role is unclear as he joins a backfield which includes Julius Jones, and sleeper candidate Justin Forsett. But a committee is imminent with a washed-up back (James) and a guy who never reached his potential (Jones).
Seattle’s best might be the guy who will not be picked in your draft (Forsett).
James’ signing is likely an insurance policy for Jones who missed the team’s most recent preseason game. This move seems more of a reflection of Jones’ situation, then a knock against Forsett, who still has sleeper value despite James’ presence.
Forsett has caught the eye of coaches during the last two preseasons, and looked impressive against the Broncos on Saturday night, catching seven passes for 58 yards. And with T.J. Duckett released, the threat of a touchdown vulture is gone because it is hard to imagine James taking taking on that role. Forsett is still a guy you should keep an eye on after your drafts.
