MINNEAPOLIS — Here is the expected quarterback rotation for the Vikings in tonight’s preseason game against the Chiefs, according to a team official. This is subject to change (and did about an hour before kickoff).
- Brett Favre will start and play one to two series.
- Sage Rosenfels was scheduled to play next, but he’s recovering from an ankle injury and will sit out. Had this been a regular-season game, Rosenfels would be OK to play.
- With Rosenfels out, Tarvaris Jackson will go after Favre, followed by John David Booty, who will play the fourth quarter.
