Eagles looking at TE Curtis for depth

The Eagles evaluated TE Tony Curtis today, according to a team source, and could sign him, pending a physical Friday.

The Eagles have been struck by injuries at tight end and along the offensive line. Curtis has fought injuries lately, which led to his release by the Chiefs this month, but he has 11 catches for 50 yards in 36 NFL games. All three of his touchdown receptions came in 2007 with the Cowboys.

The Eagles lost to the Colts 23-15 in a preseason game Thursday night.
