Seahawks three-time Pro Bowl LB Lofa Tatupu sat out his second practice in three days on Tuesday morning. The reason? Coach Jim Mora wants to give some of his veterans some rest.
Tatupu participated in warmups and early individual drills during practice on Monday afternoon before sitting out all team activities.
- The Seahawks have a number of other starters missing practice time. According to the team’s official blog, three players who started practice on Monday did not finish — WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (ankle), S Deon Grant (groin) and CB Josh Wilson (groin). Those already missing practice included WR Courtney Taylor (knee), OT Walter Jones (back), CB Marcus Trufant (back), C Chris Spencer (ankle), LB Will Herring (groin) and OL Grey Ruegamer (elbow).
