CANTON, Ohio — Hall of Fame WR Tommy McDonald has embarked on a second career as the highlight of the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductions.
McDonald turned Canton on its ear with one of the greatest inductions speeches of all-time in 1998 — highlighted by a chest bump. McDonald did not disappoint Saturday night by chest bumping a number of Hall of Famers and finishing it off with a chest bump of host Rich Eisen before finally taking his seat.
McDonald’s exuberance for the chest bump has seemingly become a Hall of Fame tradition of sorts. However, let’s just hope he does not get too carried away and try to chest bump inductee Ralph Wilson.
