CANTON, Ohio — Don Criqui, master of ceremonies for Friday night’s Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinees dinner, had a couple of pretty good lines about 90-year-old Bills owner Ralph Wilson, a member of the Class of 2009.
One: “I told him, ‘Gee, you look good.’ He told me, ‘There are three stages of life — young, middle-aged and ‘Gee, you look good.’”
Two: “His wife, Mary, told him, ‘I think you love football more than me.’ Ralph said, ‘But I love you more than hockey.’”
Later in the evening, several Terrible Towel-waving fans, in formal attire, greeted the moment that former Steelers DB Rod Woodson received his yellow Hall of Fame jacket for the first time.
