Palmer sees limited action in Bengals’ scrimmage

The Associated Press reports that an estimated 6,500 fans showed up Friday to watch the Bengals’ first scrimmage of 2009. Carson Palmer, who injured his elbow last season and didn’t play after Oct. 5, was back under center for Cincinnati.

Palmer played just a few series, completing one pass and throwing one interception on the opening drive.

“I feel good,” Palmer said. “I feel confident in what I’m doing personally, confident in what we’re doing as an offense. I keep saying the same thing over and over: We just need to keep getting better. I need to keep getting better.” More…
