Saints RB Bush: Leaving practice just ‘a precaution’

Saints RB Reggie Bush seemed unconcerned that he had to cut his first practice session short Wednesday morning to ice his left knee. Bush had surgery in December to repair cartilage in the knee.
“I iced it just as a precaution, so when I ice it, that means I’m just maintaining,” Bush said, according to the Associated Press. “I’ve got to stay on top of it and treat it as if it was the first day I injured it.”
Bush said he planned to practice Wednesday afternoon.
“Now it’s just about getting myself back to football shape and getting my knee back to carrying the load again,” Bush said.
