Veteran WR Amani Toomer joined his Chiefs teammates for practice on Tuesday afternoon, shortly after signing a deal with the team. Toomer brings a veteran presence to the Chiefs that was lost when TE Tony Gonzalez was traded to the Falcons.
The signing of Toomer could signal that the Chiefs are looking for more production from the starting receiver position opposite Dwayne Bowe. Mark Bradley and Devard Darling are currently challenging for the No. 2 receiver position.
Fantasy guru Michael Fabiano says that Toomer’s fantasy impact will be minimal.
