Offensive lineman Eric Wood has agreed to a five-year contract with the Bills, according to a league source, becoming the fifth first-round pick from the 2009 draft class to reach a deal.

First-round draft pick Eric Wood, a center from Louisville, is expected to sign a contract with the Bills tonight or tomorrow, according to a league source. The Bills also are believed to be getting close to a deal with second-round pick Jairus Byrd, a cornerback from Oregon.
