Seahawks scrambling to get rookie Curry in camp

Seattle Seahawks general manager Tim Ruskell said the team is working “nonstop” to get first-round pick LB Aaron Curry under contract for the start of training camp.

Seahawks rookies were scheduled to arrive Thursday, while the rest of the veterans are due to arrive Friday.

Ruskell said Curry is seeking a contract that guarantees at least the $28 million that Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez signed as the team’s fifth overall pick.
