Jets RB Washington at practice

New York Jets running back Leon Washington has reported to the team and was on the field Friday morning for the first practice of training camp.

Washington was a no-show when the rest of the team checked into the players’ dormitory Thursday because of a contract dispute in which he’s seeking a big raise. A Pro Bowl selection last season as a kick returner, Washington took part in drills at the start of Friday’s first practice.
