Finally, someone is calling out Brett Favre for his inability to commit.
And while NFL media folks are busy tracking flights from Hattiesburg, Miss., to Minnesota, they apparently missed the trip that Favre made last week. On July 20, the retired (for now) quarterback flew to Chicago to film a national television commercial for Sears. The spot, which won’t debut until early September, features Favre undecided about whether or not to go ahead with his purchase of a flat-screen TV.
The spot promotes the newly launched Sears Blue Electronics Crew. In it, a member of the crew presents Sears’ “real time price checks” as a way to help people who have a tough time making decisions.
“You know that type, right?” the actor asks Favre.
“Yeah, I hate those guys,” Favre responds.
Meanwhile, the Vikings continue to wait on Favre’s decision on whether or not he will come out of retirement to play for the team.
