Are there any sure-fire No. 1 fantasy backs?

Michael Fabiano, in his latest fantasy notebook, laments the disappearance of the reliable, true No. 1 fantasy running back. In other words, it’s another chance for him to take swipes at Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson. Honestly, you can talk yourself into avoiding any of the top fantasy running backs if you want.

Fabiano is down on Tomlinson more than most — so much so that I’m beginning to wonder if Fabiano went to school at one of Texas Christian’s rivals or something. But Tomlinson’s training-camp performance is certainly something to watch.

Fabiano also has updates on Brian Westbrook, Frank Gore and the Ravens’ wide receiver situation. (MORE)
