STATELINE, Nev. — Say what you want about Cowboys QB Tony Romo, but just don’t say he isn’t one popular dude.
Here at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament, Romo probably has more fans following him than anyone, except for maybe Michael Jordan and MMA stud Chuck Liddell.
There are dozens of spectators wearing Romo’s No. 9 jerseys at an event where most folks sport country club-type attire.
Liddell, whose caddy is FOX Sports analyst Jay Glazer, has been mobbed by fans. Of course, Liddell doesn’t need security like a lot of other celebs. He can protect himself just fine. In fact, Liddell might be the toughest guy to ever play this event — since Bob Barker laid out Happy Gilmore, of course.
