Packers fans apparently aren’t too happy with all this talk about Brett Favre possibly playing for the Vikings, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
The newspaper reports that an enterprising Packers fan has started a Web site to sell merchandise in the event that Favre does sign with the rival Vikings. The site features T-shirts and other memorabilia comparing the former Packers QB to Judas Iscariot.
Other news floating around the Web this morning:
- Vikings WR Sidney Rice trained with Larry Fitzgerald and Cris Carter during the offseason at the University of Minnesota.
- Veteran RB Fred Taylor is expected to get the second-most carries in New England, behind only Kevin Faulk.
- Dolphins WR Davone Bess‘ loyalty to the University of Hawaii led him to a career in the NFL.
- Bears WR Devin Hester says he eventually will give up punt returns. Just don’t expect it to be this season.
- The Rams are optimistic that they can reach a deal with franchised safety Oshiomogho Atogwe.
- Falcons DE John Abraham’s agent denies a report that his client is headed for a holdout.
- The Eagles are very high on backup RB LeSean McCoy, which could mean that rumors about Warrick Dunn joining the team are unfounded.
