McDaniels looks forward to having Marshall in camp

The Denver Post is reporting that the Broncos are going to continue speaking with WR Brandon Marshall, rebuking an earlier report that the Broncos were going to grant the embattled receiver’s trade request.

Marshall missed a mandatory minicamp on Friday but met later in the day with coach Josh McDaniels.

“We met after Pat’s meeting with Brandon and are going to continue our dialogue with Brandon and his representative,” said Broncos coach Josh McDaniels. “We look forward to having Brandon at training camp.”

Marshall had 104 receptions for 1,265 yards and six touchdowns for the Broncos last year. He also recently avoided legal and league problems over his March 1 arrest in Atlanta on misdemeanor battery charges, which were later dropped.
