Moreno making an impression at Broncos’ camp

Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno is behind LaMont Jordan and Correll Buchhalter on the depth chart. But probably not for long.

The Denver Post reported over the weekend that Moreno was making a move for the first team. The paper reported that Moreno participated with the first team during a no-huddle drill. Moreno caught a TD pass from Chris Simms, which impressed the veterans.

    “I like the kid. He can catch good, he’s got good foot quickness,” Buckhalter said. “I think he’s going to be a heck of a player in this league.”

Hard not to agree with Buckhalter. In fact, I answered the question about Moreno being a No. 1 back in our fantasy draft kit. Moreno will be the top starter in Denver before the season starts. The news is only going to get better out of Denver, so have confidence in Moreno being a legit No. 2 back on your fantasy team.
