Marshall again a no-show at Broncos camp

One day after meeting with Broncos coach Josh McDaniels and owner Pat Bowlen over his absence from the first day of mandatory minicamp, The Denver Post is reporting that wide receiver Brandon Marshall was again a no-show Saturday.
The Post writes that Marshall, rehabbing from offseason hip surgery, is seeking a new contract.
Marshall met Friday afternoon with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, but apparently the star receiver wasn’t satisfied enough with that conversation to return. After combining for 206 catches the previous two seasons, Marshall isn’t pleased with the one year, $2.2 million remaining on his deal.
On a more productive note, McDaniels did name Kyle Orton as his starting quarterback Saturday, leaving Chris Simms as Denver’s backup.
