On the heels of the news that Colts K Adam Vinatieri had hip surgery comes word that RB Joseph Addai also went under the knife.
Addai told the Indianapolis Star that he underwent arthroscopic surgery on one of his knees.
- “Got it cleaned out,” said Addai. “It’s feeling good right now.”
- “He’s working through a bit of a rehab situation, but he’s in fine physical condition,” Colts coach Jim Caldwell said of Addai. “He’s been lifting, doing all the things that have been required of him.”
Addai’s procedure is the result of an injury sustained last season. The three-year veteran missed four games in ’08 and totaled 750 yards from scrimmage with seven total touchdowns.
