WR Bennett works out for Falcons

Veteran WR Drew Bennett, who was released by the Rams after two injury-plagued, unproductive seasons, worked out for the Falcons on Thursday. Bennett joined St. Louis after five solid seasons with Tennessee. Of his 307 career catches, only 34 came with St. Louis — he had just one last season because of injuries to the lower extremities.
Atlanta is looking for depth at wide receiver following the trade of third-year wide receiver Laurent Robinson to St. Louis before the draft.
