Steelers meet with free-agent WR Lelie

The Steelers met with free-agent WR Ashlie Lelie on Monday and could be closing in on an agreement, his agent told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:

    “He had a great visit. The Steelers and I are going to continue to have open dialogue,” Peter Schaffer said. “I think there’s some mutual interest, and we’re going to keep discussing it.”

Lelie was the 19th overall selection in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Broncos and played four seasons in Denver. He played the last three seasons in Atlanta, San Francisco and Oakland.
