RB Scott goes to Bengals

Abeline Christian’s Bernard Scott had the most checkered past of any player in the 2009 draft class.
Of course, he ended up with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Scott has had off-field problems ever since high school and has been with four different collegiate institutions due to academic and behavioral issues. He will also go down in history as one of the most productive runners in college football.
It’s hard to see Scott making much of an impact as a rookie, though, and he won’t push Cedric Benson for the top spot on the depth chart.
As for Benson, his value rises after a weekend that saw the Bengals improve their offensive line without adding a true impact runner to compete for the starting role.
