The Baltimore Ravens have opened contract extension discussions for offensive tackle Jared Gaither. The team and Gaither’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, have broached a new deal because Gaither is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
Gaither, 23, was a fifth-round pick out of Maryland in the 2007 supplemental draft. He started 15 games for the Ravens in 2008.
