Browns draft RB Davis in Round 6

Despite the fact that Jamal Lewis will be 30 when next season starts, the Browns still waited until the 195th overall selection to take a running back, Clemson’s James Davis.

While Davis showed some flashes of potential at the collegiate level, he has little chance to unseat Lewis atop the depth chart. In fact, Lewis’ value actually rose this weekend with the addition of C Alex Mack out of California.

With coach Eric Mangini at the helm and an improved offensive line in front of him, can Lewis become this season’s Thomas Jones?
