Cardinals’ Dansby finds new agent

After a much-publicized split from his last agent, Kirk Wood, in the middle of contract negotiations with the Arizona Cardinals, LB Karlos Dansby has hired new representation.

The Arizona Republic is reporting that Dansby has picked Todd France, who represents such NFL players as RBs Brian Westbrook and Ronnie Brown, TE Leonard Pope, LB Leroy Hill and CB Nate Clements.

Dansby was designated as a franchise player by the Cardinals for the second straight season in February, and the two sides had been working on a long-term deal.

Dansby recently told the Republic that he didn’t believe a new deal would be done before training camp. The two sides have a July 15 deadline to reach a deal.
