Smith’s agent has yet to be notified of a change

While there are reports that Alabama OT Andre Smith has fired agent Alvin Keels, Keels said Monday afternoon he had not been notified yet that his status had changed in terms of representing Smith.
Keels spoke to Smith on Monday morning before the prospect’s workout for the New England Patriots and Smith didn’t mention anything about firing Keels. Smith and Keels are supposed to meet Monday night in Atlanta, where Smith has been training. Keels said the meeting is to discuss Smith’s upcoming travel schedule. A decision on their future relationship could also be broached.
