Former Cowboys DT Johnson lands with Bengals

Former Cowboys DT Tank Johnson has signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to the Dallas Morning News:

After visiting with Cincinnati recently, Johnson signed with the Bengals on Tuesday. He is (the) fourth free agent to leave the Cowboys this off-season, joining Chris Canty (Giants), Kevin Burnett (San Diego) and Joe Berger (Miami). I’m not sure on the terms of the deal, just that one has been struck.

Johnson played in 16 games for the Cowboys last season, starting once, against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. He finished the season with 22 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.

NFL.com’s Steve Wyche confirmed the move.
