Cutler’s agent: QB’s destination is unknown

The agent for disgruntled Broncos QB Jay Cutler said he is aware that the team is actively shopping his client, but he is uncertain which teams are potential landing spots in a trade.
“At this time, neither Jay nor I have any response,” Bus Cook said in an e-mail Wednesday morning. “I have not had inquiry from any teams, but I am sure the Broncos are entertaining offers since their statement to the media about trading Jay.”
Broncos owner Pat Bowlen issued a statement Tuesday night, saying the team will try to trade Cutler after repeated attempts to contact him had failed and that a conversation with Cook on Tuesday re-affirmed the quarterback’s demands to no longer play in Denver. Cutler is at odds with the franchise and, in particular, new coach Josh McDaniels after learning the Broncos considered trading him at the outset of free agency for Patriots QB Matt Cassel, whom McDaniels coached in New England.
