Former Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks said Tuesday that he does not plan to retire and he has heard from several teams about possibly signing him.

The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms on a two-year contract with free-agent linebacker Mike Peterson on Monday night, reuniting him with his former defensive coordinator, current Falcons coach Mike Smith.
