Curry among top prospects at Wake Forest Pro Day

All 32 NFL teams sent representatives to Wake Forest’s March 23 pro day.  Eleven Demon Deacons worked out, along with various players from smaller, local area programs:

LB Aaron Curry (6-1 7/8, 255) ran position drills and stood on all of his numbers from the combine. On Thursday, Curry worked out for the Seahawks, and he is expected to make a formal visit to Seattle on Monday. He plans to visit Kansas City on April 4.

S Alphonso Smith (5-8 7/8, 193) stood on all his numbers from the combine with the exception of the vertical jump, in which he recorded 32 inches.

DB Chip Vaughn (6-1 5/8, 220) stood on all his numbers from the combine.

LB Stanley Arnoux (6-0 1/8, 232) posted a 31-inch vertical jump, a 4.37 short shuttle, 7.02 three-cone drill and 20 bench press reps. He kept his 40-yard dash and broad jump numbers from the combine.

K Sam Swank (6-0 5/8, 198) did positional workouts.
