T.O. skips first voluntary workout with Bills

Terrell Owens signed a one-year deal with the Bills for a second, third another chance. Then he promptly skipped the Bills first voluntary workout of the season. And there’s the rub. The Bills’ workout was voluntary, but the need to repair his image is not.

Then again, maybe there is no way T.O. can repair his image. And maybe he could get a better workout in his driveway.

Still, coach Dick Jauron was hopeful that Owens would be there at some point.

“Terrell in the past has not been involved in all of those things,” Jauron said recently when asked if Owens would be in attendance. “My hope is that he’s here. He knows how important it is for us, particularly in his first year with us.”
