Ex-Ravens CB Rolle expected to visit with Jets

Could Samari Rolle be the next former Baltimore Raven to join his old defensive coordinator, Rex Ryan, with the New York Jets?
The New York Daily News‘ Rich Cimini confirms an earlier report that the veteran CB — cut by the Ravens last week — is scheduled to meet with the Jets, perhaps as early as Thursday night. Cimini writes:
“Obviously, Rex Ryan is familiar with Rolle, so this makes a lot of sense, especially now that former Ravens CB Corey Ivy (Browns) is off the market.”
Rolle, an 11-year NFL veteran, has 31 interceptions for the Tennessee Oilers/Titans and Baltimore. He spent the previous four seasons under Ryan in Baltimore, but he missed a total of 16 games over the last two — six in 2008 because of a shoulder injury and 10 in 2007 after he was diagnosed with epilepsy.
