Cutler expected to be no-show Monday

Embattled Broncos QB Jay Culter and new coach Josh McDaniels finally met face-to-face Saturday, but the real drama could start Monday. KCNC TV in Denver reports that Cutler will not report to the Broncos’ voluntary workout Monday. That certainly should help ease tensions.

The Broncos have maintained that they won’t trade Cutler after reports first surfaced of a proposed three-team deal that would have landed Matt Cassel in Denver and Cutler in Tampa Bay. But Cutler has remained convinced that the Broncos will trade him prior to April’s NFL Draft. Skipping Monday’s voluntary workouts could be Cutler’s attempt to force Denver’s hand.
