Ravens starting cornerback Samari Rolle recently asked for his release, and apparently, he’ll get his wish. The Baltimore Sun reports that Rolle expects to be released next week. The Ravens signed Domonique Foxworth on the first day of free agency and would create $4.1 million in salary-cap space by releasing the 32-year-old defensive back.
“I anticipate it happening. I’m happy,” Rolle told the newspaper. “Everyone got what they wanted out of this. I wish the Ravens nothing but the best of luck.”
