Steelers keep backup LB Frazier with two-year deal

The Steelers maintained their depth at linebacker Thursday by signing backup Andre Frazier to a two-year, $1.375 million contract, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
According to the newspaper, Frazier will receive salaries of $625,000 in 2009 and $630,000 in 2010. His signing bonus is $125,000.
Frazier, who was an unrestricted free agent, played in 15 games with no starts for the Super Bowl champions last season and made 10 tackles and one sack. He debuted with Pittsburgh in 2005, played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006 and 2007, and then returned to the Steelers in 2007 and 2008.
Frazier has made 42 tackles and two sacks in his NFL career.
