Warner says he would play with T.O.

Cardinals QB Kurt Warner, who just signed a two-year deal to stay in Arizona, sat down with Sports Illustrated‘s Dan Patrick on his radio show to talk about the future of the team, and his throwing options for 2009. So would he want Terrell Owens catching his passes?

“Yeah, I would,” Warner said. “I think he’s a great player. When I’ve been around him, I’ve enjoyed being around him. I would definitely play with him as long as it was best for our football team.”

Of course, that’s easy for Warner to say knowing that he has three 1,000-yard receivers. Even if the Cardinals trade Anquan Boldin, they wouldn’t have interest in Owens, and he wouldn’t want any part of being on a team as a No. 2 or 3 receiver.
