Panthers’ Muhammad selling his house on eBay

Feel like doing a little bit of online shopping? If you have $2 million available, you can purchase Panthers WR Muhsin Muhammad‘s house via an online superstore. The Charlotte Observer reports that Muhammad is selling his home on eBay.
Is a home really the kind of impulse buy that most eBay shoppers are looking for? Can you imagine some Panthers fan searching the site for a Blue Öyster Cult T-shirt and an autographed picture of Richard Huntley and finding that listing? Perhaps they can drop the house into the “items I’m watching” section in the event the house falls below, say, $100. And further, is it even possible to use PayPal as a down payment?
But Muhammad’s real-estate broker, Brandy Hayes, said the listing was working.
- “It’s worked really well, because we’ve gotten a lot of feedback from people around the country who have things to either sell or trade,” Hayes said.
Would they take an old Troy Aikman jersey and an orange Lacoste polo shirt? Sure, turn down that offer now, but you’ll be back.
