Last year, defensive back Eugene Wilson sat on the free-agent market for weeks. This year, he sat on the market for hours. Wilson reached agreement on a three-year, $11.3 million deal with the Houston Texans. Wilson played well this season, Houston did not want to lose him, and it kept its man.
